gadgets

Fellas, please forgive my ignorance, but I have a major problem of adding a gadget. I'm trying to download some of those at Windows Live but there's no way I can find to place them on the sidebar. I can just download the source code to my desktop and that's it. Any advices?

There is difference between Windows Live Gadgets and Sidebar Gadgets currently, this should be resolved by RTM, when all will be universal. Yes, I have already identified that. Gadgets seems to be quite a nice and funny thing to become a hobby. I think I'm going to do build some gadgets :)
